No peace in South Asia without Kashmir settlement: Waza

Srinagar, December 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, has said that permanent peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Kashmiris’ resolve to continue struggle reaffirmed

Srinagar, December 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the speakers at a seminar in Srinagar, today, reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their liberation struggle till it reaches its logical conclusion.

The seminar titled “Diplomatic front of freedom movement and Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai’ was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front on the occasion of the death anniversary of prominent scholar, Professor Abdul Ahad Wani and the speakers included Muhammad Yasin Malik, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Mian Abdul Qayoom, Nazir Ahmed Ronga, Dr Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal, Zafar Ahmed Shah, Dr Javed Iqbal, Z G Muhammad an Dr Zafar Mehdi. They eulogised the services of Dr Wani for the Kashmir liberation movement.

New Delhi, December 31 (KMS): The controversy over Indian army chief’s age is not over yet as the Defence Ministry has rejected General V K Singh’s statutory complaint to consider May 10, 1951 as his date of birth and conveyed to him that he would have to retire on May 31 next year.
