Syed Ali Gilani demands release of Kashmiri detainees

Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails. Syed Ali Gilani talking to a delegation while visiting the family of a liberation leader, Abdul Aziz Dar, who has been unlawfully detained for the last nineteen years, said that the Kashmiri people had rendered unparalleled sacrifices for securing their right to self-determination.

Yasmeen Raja pays tributes to victims of Shopian incident

Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference leader and Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz Jammu and Kashmir, Yasmeen Raja has paid tributes to two Kashmiri women, Aasiya and Neelofar, who were molested and murdered by men in uniform in Shopian two year back.

IHK Bar demands better treatment to prisoners

Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court challenging certain provisions of the black law, Public Safety Act (PSA), and has sought better living conditions and redressal of grievances of the illegally detained Kashmiris lodged in jails and interrogation centres of the territory.

Complete shutdown in Shopian town

Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Shopian town for the second consecutive to commemorate the death anniversary of two Kashmiri women, Aasiya and Neelofer, who were molested and murdered by men in uniform in 2009.
