Martyrs’ mission to be accomplished at all costs

Srinagar, June 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and leaders of other pro-movement organisations have reaffirmed Kashmiris’ resolve to accomplish the mission of Kashmiri martyrs at all costs.

The reaffirmation was made on the 17th martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri religious scholar, Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad, today.

The APHC Chairman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the day was not far off when India would find itself compelled to accept the ground realities and provide the Kashmiri people their inalienable right to self-determination.

Dialogue cannot succeed without ending HR abuses in IHK

Shabbir Shah arrested in occupied Kashmir

Srinagar, June 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police personnel arrested senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, today, when he was on his way to Islamabad town to participate in a function to commemorate the 17th martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri scholar, Qazi Nisar Ahmad.

The policemen intercepted Shabbir Ahmed Shah at Bijbehara and took him into custody along with three Hurriyet activists.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed in Islamabad town to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad.
