Srinagar, June 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed the hope that the forthcoming talks between the foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India will make a positive headway towards resolving the Kashmir dispute on durable basis.

The APHC Chairman was addressing a gathering in Srinagar today, which was organised to mark the 47th foundation anniversary of his party, Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee. He said that the genuine Kashmiri leadership must be incorporated in the talks process between the two neighbouring countries. He stressed the need of bringing about a settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations that would also be acceptable to Pakistan and India.

CRPF to use Chilli Grenades to quell peaceful protests in IHK

New Delhi, June 20 (KMS): The Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have started receiving batches of Chilli Grenades which will be used to quell the peaceful protests in occupied Kashmir. The CRPF had placed order to a local firm for as many as 10,000 Chilli Grenades at a whopping cost of 15.1 million rupees.

Srinagar, June 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the book ‘Long drive to Freedom’ collection of articles and elegies on last year’s uprising in the Kashmir Valley has been launched. The book has been authored by a prominent human rights activists and lawyer, Sajid Iqbal Khanday who died in a road accident, last month.
