Puppet Chief Minister’s Wife, Kids remain unhurt as Raft overturns

 Shimla, 26 June (KMS): The puppet Chief Minister of occupied Kashmir, Omar Abdullah's wife and two sons remained unhurt today, when their raft overturned on the Beas River in this tourist town in Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

‘Kashmir resolution not possible without evolving consensus’

New Delhi, June 26 (KMS): India’s interlocutor on Kashmir, M M Ansari, has said that Kashmir is a very complex issue and it cannot be resolved unless all the parties agree to a negotiated settlement and evolve a consensus in the interest of securing peace in the region.

US firm to provide two dredgers to IHK

Srinagar, June 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, after years of inordinate delay, the puppet administration has signed an agreement for procuring state-of-the-art dredgers with renowned US-based Ellicott Dredges, one of the oldest manufacturers of dredging equipments. Incidentally, Ellicott Dredges had supplied the first dredger for conservation of Jhelum in 1960.

Permanent peace in S. Asia linked to Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, June 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leaders of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt and Shabbir Ahmed Shah have said that permanent peace in South Asia is possible only after the Kashmir dispute is resolved on durable basis.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt talking in Srinagar to the delegates from Sopore said that settlement of the lingering dispute was imperative for establishing cordial relations between Pakistan and India. He said that Kashmir belonged to the Kashmiris and only they would decide about its future.

3 killed, several injured in road mishaps in IHK

Police reopen cases, hunt for 200 people in Kupwara

Srinagar, June 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the police have started massive operations to arrest about 200 people in Trehgam area of Kupwara who participated in protests against the killing of three innocent youth by Indian troops in 2005.

Srinagar, June 26 (KMS): The Chairman of United Jihad Council, Syed Salah-ud-Din, has said that lacs of Kashmiris have not scarified their lives for trade or business but for resolution of the Kashmir dispute and complete freedom from Indian bondage.
