Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) has said that the members of the so-called assembly and pro-India parties are deceiving Kashmiris by raising the issue of the death sentence to a Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Afzal Guru.

Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian police arrested the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik along with over one dozen party leaders and activists in Srinagar, today.

Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, forceful anti-India demonstrations erupted in Srinagar, today, after Indian police arrested the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik and some of his supporters for taking out a rally in Maisuma area.

Carrying placards and banners, Yasin Malik and the JKLF activists took out a rally from Maisuma towards Budshah Chowk demanding that the Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Afzal Guru should not be hanged. Guru is facing death sentence in a false case of attack on Indian parliament. As soon as the protestors reached Budshah Chowk, a posse of policemen took Yasin Malik and 15 activists into custody and lodged them at a police station. Indian police and troops resorted to teargas shelling and baton charge to disperse the protesters.

Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): The leader of Communist Party of India (Marxist), M Y Tarigami, strongly reacting to the revelation of details about rape victims furnished by the authorities, asked them to apologise to all the rape victims.
