Waza stresses on Kashmiris’ inclusion in Pak-India talks

Srinagar, April 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, has said that the talks between Pakistan and India can be fruitful only after the genuine Kashmiri leadership is involved in the process.

World bodies appealed to help stop HR abuses in IHK

Srinagar, April 23 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference has appealed to the world human rights organisations to take cognisance of gross human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian troops and police personnel in occupied Kashmir.

A statement issued after a meeting of the APHC Executive Council, chaired by its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, said that the lingering Kashmir dispute was the basic cause of sufferings and miseries of the Kashmiri people. The participants called for inclusion of the genuine Kashmiri leadership in the talks process between Pakistan and India to make it meaningful and result-oriented.

SPO found dead in Doda

Srinagar, April 23 (KMS): A Special Police Officer of Indian police was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Doda district.

Body of the SPO identified as Naresh Kumar was found in Bargi Nallah in Gandoh area of the district.
