90 PC infant deaths at g b pant due to negligence

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, almost 90 per cent of infant deaths that took place in G B Pant Hospital Srinagar were caused by infections associated with the hospital’s unhygienic conditions and contaminated ventilators.

Gilani demands unmasking of minor girl’s killers

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has demanded unmasking of the killers of a minor girl, whose body was recovered from the river Jhelum a few days ago.

Police asked to furnish info on unmarked graves in 22 IHK districts

Srinagar, June 6 (KMS):  In occupied Kashmir, the Chief Information Commission (CIC) has directed police to provide information of graveyards in all 22 districts of the territory where unidentified persons are buried in unmarked graves.

The CIC issued the order in response to an appeal by Khurram Parvez of Association of Parents of Disappeared People (APDP).

Martyrs week to be observed from Monday

Srinagar, June 6 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Martyrs Week will be observed from Monday to pay homage to the youth who were killed by Indian troops during the uprising in 2010.

This was stated by veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, while addressing the meeting of his forum in Srinagar, today. He urged the world community and human rights bodies to investigate the killings of innocent youth by Indian troops in indiscriminate firing during the uprising.

Martyrs week to be observed from Monday

Srinagar, June 6 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Martyrs Week will be observed from Monday to pay homage to the youth who were killed by Indian troops during the uprising in 2010.

Kashmir never remained part of India: Naqash

India urged to take steps for Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyet leaders have urged India to take a lead from the changing global scenario and settle the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiri people their inalienable right to self-determination.

‘Kashmiris should be granted right to self-determination’

Islamabad, June 03 (KMS): The Kashmiri leaders of both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) have reiterated their demand that the people of Kashmir should be granted the right to self-determination as recognised by the UN Charter and relevant resolutions of the World Body.

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyet leaders have urged India to take a lead from the changes taking place at the global level and resolve the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiri people their inalienable right to self-determination.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and other leaders addressing a seminar in Srinagar, today, said that settlement of the dispute was a must for ensuring permanent peace in South Asia. The seminar was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian in connection with the 23rd death anniversary of the Iranian revolutionary leader, Aayatulloh Imam Ruhollah Khomeini.
