‘Released Mujahideen to be rehabilitated’

Srinagar, June 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, terming the process of scrutinising the antecedents of released Mujahideen (militants) as a complicated process, Commander of Army’s 15 Corps, Lt. Gen. S A Hasnain said that Army was committed to facilitate initiative of the Indian government for their rehabilitation.

S A Hasnain, talking to reporters at a local hotel said that various Indian agencies including the occupation authorities were working shoulder to shoulder over the issue of rehabilitation of Kashmiri youths.
 
“If the militant youth want to spend a peaceful life, then they are welcome but the whole process should be scrutinized properly,” he maintained.

Earlier, SA Hasnain while releasing the photographic compilation ‘Birds of Baramulla’ an initiative conceived by Maj. Gen. VS Dadhwal, said the Kashmir valley is well known for its natural wealth. He said that Baramulla and its surrounding areas form the core of wildlife rich area.
