CRPF to deploy 49 additional companies in IHK

Jammu, June 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will deploy about 5,000 personnel during Amarnath Yatra beginning from June 29.

A CRPF spokesman in a statement issued here said that as many as 49 additional CRPF companies (each with 100 personnel) would be deployed for the security of Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir, this year.

He said, additional companies have been mobilised from reserve CRPF forces in the territory and these are other than those already deployed in Jammu and Kashmir.
