Kashmiris to continue struggle till success: Gilani

Srinagar, February 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination till complete success.

Syed Ali Gilani in a media interview urged India to realise the ground reality and accept Kashmir as a disputed territory, withdraw its troops, repeal draconian laws like Armed Forces Special Powers Act and Public Safety Act and release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists.

He said that dialogue with India was a futile exercise. He maintained that dialogue should be meaningful and result-oriented, adding that it must be tripartite between Pakistan, India and real representatives of Kashmiris. There can be no solution under the purview of the Indian Constitution, he clarified.

The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader said, “Our struggle has been peaceful. But we are facing state terrorism from India.”
