Srinagar, October 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the APHC leader and the Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja has expressed gratitude to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) for appointing special envoy on Kashmir.

Yasmeen Raja, in a statement issued in Srinagar, lauded the role of China, Turkey and Libya for supporting the Kashmir cause on international forums.

She urged India to give up its conventional intransigence and implement the United Nations’ resolutions to settle the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of the people of Kashmir. “ India can not suppress Kashmiris’ just struggle through use of brute force. We will never allow the sacrifices of martyrs to go waste,” she added.

Expressing concern over the investigation of Shopian case by Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), she said that the Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association had taken a right decision by withdrawing from the case.
