Srinagar, March 8 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Association of Kashmiri Affected Families in a meeting held in Srinagar, today, appealed the champions of human rights organisations to put pressure on India to stop state terrorism.
The spokesman of the organisation, in a statement issued in Srinagar after the meeting said that the Kashmir dispute couldn’t be resolved through use of brute force on the innocent Kashmiri people. “Meaningful and result-oriented dialogue are the best solution to the long-standing Kashmir dispute, he added.
The spokesman also demanded of the Indian government to repeal all the black laws including the Public Safety Act (PSA) and Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA).
He also condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders and activists and demanded their immediate release. »
