Tramboo denounces killing of youth by troops in IHK

Brussels, February 03 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Centre Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo has denounced the killing of an innocent Kashmiri youth, Wamiq Farooq Wani, 15, by Indian police in Srinagar.

Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, in a statement issued in Brussels, said that Indian police personnel and troops were committing gross human rights violations in the occupied territory with impunity by flouting International law.

He said that the occupation authorities had always tried to shield the culprits involved in such crimes. “ Earlier, in the case of Iram Ahmed Lone, 12, who was killed in the same manner on October 8, 2009, the results of the investigation were to be released before the October 17 but it did not happen and no one was held accountable for his death,” he added.

The Chairman of Kashmir Centre Brussels demanded to take stern action against the guilty troops in Wani’s case to avoid such incidents in future.
