APHC-AJK delegation holds meetings with leaders in Karachi

Kashmiris’ aspiration to unite with Pakistan will inevitably be realized: Sarwat Ejaz Qadri

Karachi: Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Central President Sarwat Ejaz Qadri has strongly condemned India’s policies in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, likening the territory to a large prison where Indian troops operate with impunity, committing atrocities against innocent Kashmiris.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Sarwat Ejaz Qadri conveyed these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from APHC-AJK, led by its Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi. The meeting, held at Qadri House in Karachi, included Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain, and Imtiaz Wani from the APHC-AJK delegation. Also present were central coordinators of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, including Tayyab Hussain Qadri, Khalid Zia, Jawad Qadri, and others.

Qadri emphasized the stance of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who regarded Kashmir as Pakistan’s jugular vein, and expressed confidence that Kashmiris’ aspiration for integration with Pakistan will ultimately be fulfilled. He criticized the international community’s silence on Indian troops’ brutalities in Kashmir, including the genocide of Kashmiris, labeling it deeply regrettable. He commended the leadership of APHC-AJK and assured the delegation of his party’s full support for tomorrow’s rally in Karachi commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani Shaheed.

Meanwhile, the Hurriyat delegation visited the Palestine Foundation Pakistan office in Karachi today. They met with members of the Foundation’s Guardian Committee, including Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Asrar Abbasi, and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam. A large number of women and workers of the Foundation were also present in the meeting.

Ghulam Mohammad Safi highlighted the lessons gleaned from Palestinian resistance, emphasizing its efficacy in securing rights through resistance. He criticized American mediation in both Palestine and Kashmir issues, denouncing it as detrimental. Safi also drew parallels between Israeli actions in Palestine and the policies of the Modi-led Indian government in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Leaders of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan affirmed solidarity with Palestine and Kashmir, declaring America, Israel, and India as common foes of Pakistan. They reaffirmed their commitment to raising awareness about the Kashmir and the Palestine disputes in Pakistan, expressing solidarity with both causes.

Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam extended gratitude to the APHC-AJK delegation and discussed future collaborative strategies for advancing the Kashmir and Palestine causes, emphasizing joint efforts towards achieving their goals.
