Hindu goons escalate assaults on Muslim youths in UP
Aligarh: In a distressing incident in Uttar Pradesh, a Muslim youth was stripped naked and beaten by members of Hindutva outfits in Aligarh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth identified as Nazim was allegedly taking to a Hindu woman, when he was attacked by the Hindutva goons in Aligarh’s Quarsi area.
A viral video that surfaced online shows Nazim shirtless, surrounded, and interrogated by the Hindutva mob.
In another incident in Aligarh district, a minor Muslim boy was thrashed by a group of Hindu goons after they asked him his name in Banndevi area. The minor had gone to meet his ill mother at Malkhan Singh District Hospital. According to the victim, he was fetching water for his father when some people asked him for his name. “After knowing my name, they took me to the roof of the hospital and started beating me,” the minor said.
The video of this incident has also surfaced online, showing the victim crying for help while one man beat him and another filmed the attack.
This is the third incident of mob violence in Aligarh district in the last two months. Last month, a Muslim man named Mohammad Fareed was beaten to death in the Mammu Bhanja area.
