Indian probe agency NIA arrests Kashmiri youth in Kupwara
Srinagar: India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested a youth from Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued by the NIA, the detained youth has been identified as Syed Salim Jahangir Andrabi.
The agency alleged that the youth had been evading arrest since June 2020, and was working with a mujahid organization, a claim often used by Indian authorities to justify arrests and harassment of innocent Kashmiris.
