Muslim teachers attacked at a Delhi tuition center
New Delhi: Muslim teachers at a tuition center in Shakurpur area of Indian capital Delhi were physically assaulted following accusations of forcibly teaching Islamic texts to students.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred at the Joint Mentor of Discipline tuition center where Hindu goons targeted Muslim teachers blaming them forcibly teaching Islamic text to students.
Hindutva goons attacked the center, severely beating the Muslim teachers. The head teacher, Abrar Ali, was critically injured and was hospitalized.
The teachers filed a complaint at the Subhash Place police station. However, police officials registered an FIR against the Muslim teachers instead.
According to witnesses, including students and their parents, the allegations against the teachers are false. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a fee dispute between the center’s head and a Hindu student’s parents.
