Former Bangladeshi diplomat deflates India’s blame game against Pakistan
Islamabad: India is facing turmoil after the sudden change in government in Bangladesh, where its key ally Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s government was ousted as a result of popular uprising.
According to Kashmir Media Service, to deflect attention from its failure, India is blaming Pakistan for the regime change, accusing it of supporting the opposition and fueling student protests through China.
However, former Bangladeshi Foreign Secretary Shamsher Mubin Chaudhry has dismissed these allegations as “ridiculous” and “ignorant.” He argued that India’s analysts are attempting to cover up their country’s failed foreign policies in Bangladesh, where they have supported Hasina Wajid’s government for 14 years, contributing to the erosion of democracy.
