Number of imprisoned Kashmiris languishing in Indian jails , IIOJK jails rises to over 6300: IFJHR
Srinagar: Mohammad Ahsan Untoo, Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights’ (IFJHR) on Thursday, released a detailed report about the sufferings of innocent prisoners of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) languishing in Indian and IIOJK jails under fake cases.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the report revealed that the current figure 6300 innocent Kashmiri inmates languishing in Indian as well as IIOJK jails, 28 females were imprisoned unlawfully by Indian government.
All the prisoners are facing fake and fabricated cases only to spread fear and terror in the minds of Kashmiris so that they accept the dictates of Indian state institutions that have been engaged one-sided war against the peace loving people just to strengthen their armed occupation, it added.
“There have been countless massacres, rapes, arson of residential houses and this all is continuing for last more than seven decades. Millions of Kashmiris were jailed in last three decades and many of them have been behind the bars for more than twenty seven years and many are jailed without any framing of charges for years, the IFJHR report reads.
