Pakistan is strong supporter of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination: Atta Tarar
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan is a strong supporter of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s bold stand on the Kashmir dispute shows Pakistan’s unshakable commitment to the Kashmir cause.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ataullah Tarar in his message on the occasion of Black Kashmir Day said that 27th October 1947 was the darkest day of Indian military massacre on Jammu and Kashmir when India landed its troops in Jammu and Kashmir against the wishes of Kashmiris.
He said despite the cruel and brutal policies of the fascist Indian government, the Kashmiri people are fighting bravely for their freedom. He said Kashmiri people will never accept India’s usurpation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan has never backed down from advocating the legitimate cause of Kashmiris in the world. He said Pakistan always stands with the Kashmiri people and will continue to support their right to self-determination.
He said the only acceptable solution to the Kashmir issue is a referendum under the supervision of the United Nations. He said that the international community should play its role to find a peaceful solution to the Kashmir dispute and stop India from violating human rights.
He said, “We believe that the Kashmiri people will definitely reach their destination and their dream of freedom will be fulfilled.
