Indian CRPF man commits suicide in Srinagar
Srinagar: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force man committed suicide in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF man of 61 Battalion shot himself to death with his service rifle at the Shivpora area of Srinagar.
Indian officials said that the CRPF man (name withheld) belonged to Tripura state of India.
This incident is not an isolated one, as a total of 612 Indian forces’ personnel have taken their lives in the occupied territory since January 2007.
Meanwhile, a police head constable identified as Ghulam Rasool died after his car met with an accident near the Sadhna Top area of Kupwara district.
