Jharkhand chief minister slams BJP’s ‘Double-Engine’ govt’s anti-poor policy
Chakradharpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led NDA government, accusing it of making the state poorer and pushing it into backwardness during its majority rule.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Soren, leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), claims his government has rescued the state and put it back on the path to development.
At a public meeting in Chakradharpur, Soren criticized the previous BJP government for not doing anything for poor masses during its 20-year rule. He questioned why they didn’t introduce old age or widow pension schemes, waive electricity bills, or offer loan waivers for farmers.
