Moderate earthquake jolts Kishtwar
Jammu: A moderate earthquake struck Kishtwar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), sending tremors through surrounding areas.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the quake of magnitude 3.4 was felt late Saturday evening, and although it caused some panic among residents, there have been no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties.
According to India’s National Centre for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Kishtwar. The earthquake had a depth of 10 km. This comes less than 24 hours after an earthquake with its epicenter in Baramulla shook the occupied Kashmir territory on Friday night.
