Amethi: Uttar Pradesh Police have initiated an investigation after a video showing two Muslims offering namaz at Guru Gorakhnath Railway Station in Amethi went viral.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the video, which shows the men praying behind a car near the station gate, sparked objections from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders.
Police are questioning the individuals involved and investigating the incident, with action to be taken as per the law.
The incident has raised concerns over the growing scrutiny of Muslim religious practices in the state, with critics accusing the government of discriminatory actions under pressure from Hindutva groups.
