BJP turning Delhi into crime capital of India: Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: India’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has said that the BJP is turning Delhi into the crime capital of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing a rally, stated that the crime rate in the Indian capital has surged under the BJP-led Indian government. He attributed this rise in criminal activity to the BJP’s neglect and animosity towards Delhi, which has kept them out of power in the city for 25 years.
“The RSS-backed BJP has made Delhi the crime capital of India. There are robberies, chain snatchings, and gang wars; it has become increasingly difficult for women to step out of their homes,” Kejriwal said.
He assured that, if his party forms the government in Delhi, it would provide funds to Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) to hire private security guards for their respective areas. He further said that BJP is dividing votes of people of Purvanchal in the guise of Rohingyas issues.
