Glowing tributes paid to martyred resistance leader Abdul Majeed Dar


Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leader, Altaf Ahmed Butt, has paid rich tributes to noted resistance leader Abdul Majeed Dar on his 23rd martyrdom anniversary.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Majeed Dar was martyred by unknown attackers outside his house in Sopore town, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, on this day in 2003.

Altaf Ahmed Butt in a statement in Islamabad said that martyred Abdul Majeed Dar had played an important role in the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement. He emphasized that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

He also congratulated the government and people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day, expressing gratitude for Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation.

He further noted that the ongoing freedom movement in IIOJK is a continuation of the historic Pakistan Movement, echoing the spirit of the Pakistan Resolution of March 23, 1940.
