Indian soldier injured in Poonch landmine blast
Jammu: An Indian army soldier sustained critical injuries in a landmine explosion in the Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier was part of a patrolling unit accidentally triggered the landmine near Bagyal Dara along the Line of Control, as reported by Indian media.
Indian officials confirmed that the explosion resulted in severe injuries to the soldier, who was immediately evacuated and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, Indian troops have heightened vigilance in the area.
