India’s terrorist activities abroad threaten world peace: Ali Raza Syed

Brussels: Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe, Ali Raza Syed has strongly condemned the interference and terrorist activities carried out by agents of India’s spy agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), in several countries, including the United States.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Ali Raza Syed expressed deep concern over a recent report by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which specifically highlights India’s RAW agency’s involvement in terrorist activities abroad. The report has also recommended imposing sanctions on RAW for its actions.

Ali Raza stressed that India’s involvement in terrorism on foreign soil presents a direct threat to global peace and stability. He pointed out the killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, which revealed India’s terrorist activities, and noted that RAW had also attempted to assassinate another Sikh leader in the United States. He further stated that the Indian government continues to commit atrocities against religious minorities, especially Muslims, within its own borders. At the same time, it has made life unbearable for Kashmiris simply for demanding their right to self-determination.

He emphasized that under Prime Minister Modi’s government, repression in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has intensified, with deliberate efforts to marginalize the Muslim majority and alter the territory’s demographic composition.

Ali Raza Syed called on the international community to urgently take notice of India’s ongoing human rights violations against innocent Kashmiris and pressurize New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
