1st-year BTech student commits suicide in UP’sPrayagraj
Prayagraj (UP): A 20-year-old student of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), who suffered from hearing impairment, has committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of his hostel.
The police said the deceased has been identified as Madala Rahul Chaitanya (20), a first-year BTech student.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Dhoomanganj, Ajendra Yadav said Chaitanya ended his life by jumping from the fifth floor of the hostel . On getting information, the police had rushed the injured student to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
