IIOJK witnesses intensified reign of terror since Modi’s rise to power

Islamabad: Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has witnessed an intensified reign of terror since Modi’s rise to power.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India has institutionalized state terrorism to crush Kashmiris’ resistance and the Modi regime has deployed brutal oppression to suppress Kashmiris’ quest for freedom.
Fundamental rights, including religious freedom, are systematically denied in the occupied territory as Kashmiri Muslims are barred from offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Srinagar’s Jamia Masjid and Eidgah.
Since August 5, 2019, historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar has faced repeated lockdowns and prayer restrictions
Daily atrocities in IIOJK include CASOs, raids, killings, arrests and religious repression. Over 980 Kashmiris have been martyred by Indian troops since August 5, 2019 till date and more than 5,000 Kashmiris, including Hurriyat leaders & activists, remain imprisoned in Indian jails.
The fascist Modi regime is advancing the Hindutva agenda in occupied Jammu and Kashmir but Modi’s ruthless oppression cannot break the Kashmiris’ spirit for freedom.
Kashmiris are unwavering in their struggle, willing to sacrifice everything for self-determination and the world must hold India accountable for its grave human rights violations in IIOJK.
India must face consequences for its blatant violations of international law in IIOJK.
