Indian BSF man commits suicide in Kupwara
Srinagar: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man committed suicide in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the BSF man, took his life by shooting himself in the head during duty hours in Trehgam area of the district.
He was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara, where doctors declared him brought dead. The reason behind the incident was not immediately known, and further investigation is underway, the Indian police said.
This has raised the number of such deaths among Indian forces’ personnel to 623 in the occupied territory since January 2007.
