Hurriyat leaders condole death of Ghulam Mohammad Naikoo

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Fazal Haq Qureshi has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of prominent freedom-lover Ghulam Mohammad Naikoo.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Fazal Haq Qureshi in a statement issued in Srinagar paid a glowing tribute to the deceased, expressing sympathy and solidarity with his family. He stated that Ghulam Mohammad Naikoo’s services and sacrifices for the Kashmir freedom movement would always be remembered. He prayed for the deceased’s forgiveness and for patience for the grieving family.

Meanwhile, Advocate Arshad Iqbal, spokesman for the Democratic Freedom Party, also expressed his sorrow over the passing of Ghulam Mohammad Naikoo. In a statement in Srinagar, he praised the late leader’s services and sacrifices in the freedom movement, stating that despite severe hardships, he had dedicated his entire life to the struggle for freedom.

Furthermore, Muhammad Sultan Butt, a leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Ghulam Mohammad Naikoo.

In a statement, he extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and lauded the deceased’s services in the Kashmir freedom movement.
