Orchard land property of two Kashmiris seized in IIOJK
Srinagar: The New Delhi-controlled Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) authorities, led by the Lieutenant Governor, have seized orchard land belonging to two Kashmiris in Baramulla district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian police, under the Lieutenant Governor, attached 07 marlas of orchard land belonging to Bilal Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Umar Mir in the Brath Kalan Sopore area of the district, under the black law, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Since the abrogation of IIOJK’s special status in August 2019, the Indian BJP government has intensified its campaign to dispossess Kashmiris of their homes and lands. This strategy aims to economically weaken the people of Kashmir.
