World urged to send fact-finding team to IIOJK
Paris: President of the International Kashmir Peace Forum France, Zahid Iqbal Hashmi, has strongly denounced the atrocities committed by the Indian occupation forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to the media about the latest situation in IIOJK, Zahid Iqbal Hashmi stated that the Indian government’s actions—especially after 2019—have subjected Kashmiris to unbearable oppression, stripping them of their basic rights one by one. “These injustices are unforgettable”, he emphasized, adding that the restoration of special status is essential for the development and welfare of the Kashmiri people.
He urged the international community to send a fact-finding mission to the occupied territory to assess the grave human rights violations and breaches of international law in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an internationally recognized disputed territory.
Zahid further noted that 240 million Muslims in India have outright rejected the Waqf Act, as it is in no way in their favor.
