IIOJK’s Grand Mufti says Kashmiris to welcome Pandits’ return

Chengalpattu: Grand Mufti of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Nasir-ul-Islam has pitched for the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley with dignity.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, representing IIOJK at a seminar ‘talk for peace’, at Mahabalipuram in Chennai, addressing a gathering of different communities, said Muslims are eagerly waiting for their Kashmiri Pandit brethren to return. “We will welcome them with open arms,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, also said that there should be peace and harmony between the different communities across India. He said, “Recently, a controversy erupted between the two communities, but we played our role to bring peace and maintain harmony.”

“I have always been pitching for peace and harmony between the communities and will continue to do so,” he maintained.
