Indian troops continue CASOs in Poonch, Kathua

Jammu: The Indian troops have continued cordon and search operations in Poonch and Kathua districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops continued the operation for the sixth consecutive day, today, in the forest area of Lasana in Poonch district of the territory.

The Indian forces have cordoned off the area and are conducting extensive search operations in the dense forest zones. Additional troops were also called in to assist the search operations.

Search operations by Indian forces in several areas of Kathua district have also been going on for the past three weeks. Indian troops had recently martyred two Kashmiri youths in Jothana area of the district.

Along with personnel of the Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Special Operations Group of the police is also participating in the operation.

Indian forces have, so far, arrested dozens of people under black laws during these operations.
