Indian media launches anti-Pakistan toxic propaganda following attack in IIOJK
Srinagar: Following the attack on non-local individuals in the Pahalgam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leaders and Indian media have launched a fresh wave of toxic propaganda against Pakistan.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident has once again raised serious questions about India’s narrative of normalcy in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. While local political leaders swiftly condemned the attack and demanded accountability, BJP’s Ravinder Raina resorted to his usual rhetoric, blaming Pakistan without presenting any credible evidence—a pattern often repeated on such occasions.
Indian media is portraying the attack as an attempt to disrupt tourism and spread fear, thereby deflecting attention from failures in security and governance. This response reflects a broader trend of blaming external actors to cover up internal shortcomings.
The incident has once again exposed the hollowness of India’s claims that normalcy and peace have returned to Kashmir. In reality, the situation on the ground remains highly unstable. The attack has further shattered the façade of peace and development that the Indian government tries to project.
Instead of acknowledging the true ground realities, India continues to rely on lies and disinformation as a matter of state policy. However, such toxic propaganda and false narratives cannot mislead the global community for long.
