Indian troops launch CASO in IIOJK’s Pahalgam; gunshots heard
Srinagar: Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Pahalgam area of Islamabad district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, some gunshots were heard today in the Baisaran meadow area of Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination.
A senior police official told media men that gunfire was reported from the upper meadow region of Baisaran. He added that a joint team of police and paramilitary forces launched an operation in the area after the firing incident.
