Civilian traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway suspended in IIOJK

Srinagar: The Srinagar-Jammu Highway will remain suspended for local civilian traffic in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian officials stated that there will be no vehicular movement between NAVYUG Tunnel and the Nashri on the highway due to essential repair and maintenance work scheduled for Sunday.

The local Traffic Police have advised commuters to use the Mughal Road and SSG Road, where traffic is operating as per existing advisories. They have also urged all motorists to maintain strict lane discipline, warning that overtaking could lead to heavy congestion.

Travelers have been requested to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with traffic officials on duty.
