Indian police conduct raids at 36 locations across Srinagar
Srinagar: Indian police conducted raids at 36 different locations across Srinagar district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the crackdown targeted the residences of human rights defenders, and pro-freedom activists. The Indian police claimed the raids were carried out in connection with investigations under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Eyewitnesses said that women and children were harassed during the operations, and several individuals faced aggressive questioning. Locals noted that such raids have surged in frequency following the Indian-staged false flag incident in Pahalgam, which has also triggered mass arrests and widespread home demolitions across the territory.
