Minister Sardar Yousaf condemns India’s war-mongering behavior

Islamabad: A high-level Kashmiri delegation, led by senior PML-N leader Nisar Ahmed Shaeq, held a detailed meeting with the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, at the National Assembly Chamber in Islamabad.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation engaged in a comprehensive discussion with the minister on the prevailing situation in the region, particularly in light of India’s aggressive posture, cross-border shelling at the Line of Control, and the morale of the people in resisting hostile intentions. Emphasis was placed on the unity and determination of Pakistanis and Kashmiris to thwart any aggression.

The delegation included Abu Zafar Sadiq, President of Alpine Club Pakistan; Sardar Tanveer Sarwar, Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce; Engineer Kashif, representative of the Business Forum; Advocate Sher Ayaz of PML-N Azad Kashmir; Raja Zahid Jamil; Mian Altaf of Alpine Hazara Division; Dr. Ashfaq from Wah Cantt; Malik Arshad; Malik Waqar; Hafeez Abbasi of the Youth Wing, along with several other young leaders.

Key topics discussed during the meeting included the current situation on both sides of Kashmir, strategic planning for the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir, the role of model mosques in promoting religious harmony, and youth development through sports and tourism initiatives.

Addressing the delegation, Minister Sardar Yousaf strongly condemned India’s war-mongering behavior and warned that if war were imposed, both Pakistanis and Kashmiris would resist with full strength and resolve. He reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, but the Indian government under Narendra Modi is pushing the region toward conflict to serve domestic political interests and appease Hindu nationalist sentiments.

The Minister expressed appreciation for Nisar Ahmed Shaeq’s active role in youth-oriented programs across Azad Kashmir and the Hazara Division. He reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan’s steadfast political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of Kashmir.
