PM Shehbaz vows strong response to Indian aggression
Pays tribute to bravery and strength of armed forces
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed that every drop of blood spilled by those martyred in last night’s Indian air strikes will be avenged.
According to Kashmir Media Service, PM Shehbaz Sharif made these remarks during an address to the nation. He said that Pakistan and its armed forces had once again “proved their superiority over the enemy in conventional warfare.”
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the senior officials of the country’s army, navy and air force, saying the entire nation was proud of their courage and resolve.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that India would have to face the consequences of its air strikes inside Pakistan. “Perhaps they thought we would retreat — but they overlooked the fact that this is a nation built on courage,” he added.
“This is a cowardly enemy that attacks unarmed civilians and considers itself strong. But we proved last night that Pakistan knows how to deliver a befitting response in its defence. The nation salutes the bravery and strength of its armed forces.”
PM Shehbaz reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will remain a disputed territory until its people are granted their birthright — the right to self-determination.
He said the fighter jets India once boasted about now lie in wreckage — a stark reminder of Pakistan’s ability to respond with strength and precision.
“Our falcons struck with accuracy, delivering a crushing response,” he said, adding that Pakistan had once again asserted its aerial dominance.
The Prime Minister also lauded the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for exhibiting “exceptional professionalism and bravery,” noting that the pilots “tore enemy jets into pieces” in a matter of hours.
