AJK CJ condemns attack on unarmed civilians by India
Muzaffarabad: Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has strongly condemned the attack on unarmed civilians by India in the dark of night.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan addressing a full court reference in Muzaffarabad said India’s cowardly actions cannot demoralize Kashmiris. He said, “Our innocent children, women and unarmed civilians have been targeted in these attacks, which is a serious violation of international laws.”
He urged the international community to take immediate notice of Indian aggression. He said, “Our courts are open and all government offices and business institutions are functioning. The morale of the entire Pakistani nation and the Kashmiri people is high.”
Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, while paying rich tribute to the armed forces and air force of Pakistan, said: “Our falcons created history by destroying enemy’s aircraft.”
He also expressed solidarity with the heirs of all the citizens martyred and injured in the Indian attacks and paid tribute to them. The people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are standing alongside their armed forces to defend their beloved homeland.
He said the programme of the 50th Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from May 8 to May 10 has been postponed in view of the extraordinary situation.
Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem, Justice Raza Ali Khan, Advocate General, office bearers of the Supreme Court and High Court Bar Associations and senior lawyers and officers of the Supreme Court participated in the full court reference.
