APHC-AJK lauds PM Shehbaz for clear stand on Kashmir

Islamabad: The All-Party Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter has appreciated the unequivocal and clear stand taken by Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on the Kashmir issue during his address to the nation, calling it a reflection of the feelings of Kashmiris.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Prime Minister, while addressing the nation yesterday, said, “According to international law and UN resolutions, occupied Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will remain an undisputed dispute until Kashmiri sisters and brothers get the right to vote in a free, impartial environment under the supervision of the UN. India’s unilateral decisions will never change the reality.”

APHC-AJK leaders including its information secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Zahid Safi, Zahid Ashraf, Sheikh Yaqoob, Syed Manzoor Ahmed Shah and Muhammad Shafi Dar in their statements in Islamabad said that Prime Minister Shehbaz has fully expressed the feelings and emotions of the Kashmiris in his address, for which the Kashmiris are grateful to him.

Meanwhile, another Kashmiri leader Altaf Hussain Wani in a statement strongly condemned the India’s naked aggression on Pakistan, calling it a blatant violation of the international law. Wani said that the Indian attack on civilian populations, targeting mosques and residential houses constitute a grave violations of international humanitarian law that strongly prohibits targeting civilians and places of worship.
