Indian forces kill 22 tribe members in Chhattisgarh

Bijapur: Indian forces killed 22 tribe members in BJP ruled Chhattisgarh state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the tribe members named by Indian police as Naxalites were killed during a search operation in the Karregutta hills forest areas of Bijapur district bordering Telangana state.

“So far, bodies of 22 Naxalites have been recovered and a search operation was underway in the area”, a senior police official said, adding that the identity of the slain cadres was yet to be established.
