India attempted drone strike on Sikh religious site in Nankana Sahib: Pakistan Army

Rawalpindi: DG ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that India attempted to target a Sikh religious site in Nankana Sahib by launching six drones towards the location. All drones were successfully intercepted and neutralized.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a press briefing to international media, the Pakistan Army spokesperson highlighted that during India’s attack on Pakistan, 57 passenger aircraft were airborne, putting civilian lives at significant risk. The Indian attacks also resulted in the targeting of a 2-year-old child, an incident which was reportedly celebrated by Indian media, he said.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s retaliatory actions were strictly aimed at Indian military posts responsible for firing on Pakistani territory.

The DG ISPR also pointed out that attacks were being carried out against Muslims and other minorities in India, and that Muslims were being openly threatened with murder.

He said that India was supporting terrorist groups such as Fitna al-Khawarij in Pakistan. He also said that Indian had blocked neutral social media accounts. He said that India was creating a false narrative over time, fabricating stories to justify its actions.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that fake encounters by Indian troops have become a routine in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Additionally, he stressed that India’s role in global terrorism extended beyond Pakistan, with involvement in terror activities in countries like the US, Canada, and others. The DG ISPR said that India was a sponsor of terrorism in Pakistan and that Islamabad had evidence to support its assertions.
