India given befitting response for cowardly aggression: Maryam Nawaz
Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has praised the Pakistan Army’s exemplary and powerful response to Indian aggression, stating that the action taken in response to India’s cowardly provocations will be remembered in history with golden words.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement addressed to the soldiers of Pakistan through social media, Maryam Nawaz said: “Salute to you, the protectors of our sacred land. Salute to your passion, and salute to your honour.”
She paid tribute to the brave defenders who responded not only with bullets but with honour, wisdom, and courage.
Referring to Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, she stated that the operation was not merely a retaliatory move, but a historic declaration that Pakistan is not weak—its silence had only been in the interest of peace.
“When the enemy crossed the red line, Pakistan turned its patience into strategy and delivered a decisive blow,” she said, adding that while Pakistan desires peace, it does not respond to aggression with silence, but with strength.
Maryam further emphasized that Pakistan’s borders are not only guarded by fences but by the sacred blood of its martyrs.
