If India violates ceasefire, Pakistan will give merciless response: DG ISPR
Rawalpindi: The Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has taken a categorical stand on Indian aggression and said that if India violates the ceasefire, Pakistan will give a merciless response.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Pakistan Army spokesperson in an interview with Sky News said, “Whoever violates our territory, integrity and sovereignty, our response will be merciless.
He warned that both Pakistan and India are nuclear powers, and any serious tension can lead the entire region to destruction. He clarified that if India thinks that it can open a new front of war against Pakistan, then this is a serious misunderstanding on its part which will harm the entire region.
The DG ISPR said that global powers like the US are starting to understand India’s dangerous ambitions in a nuclear context. He said India is harassing the Kashmiri people through its heavy military by declaring the Kashmir dispute an “internal matter”, which is unacceptable.
He stressed that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved with the will of the Kashmiri people in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
According to Sky News, Pakistan has achieved significant successes on the military level despite India’s large armed forces, which is unacceptable to India.
