Senate of Pakistan passes resolution on successful Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoosþ
Islamabad: The Senate of Pakistan today passed a resolution on the successful completion of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the resolution highly praised the Pakistan Army for giving a fitting response to India and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to regional and global peace.
It also stated that the Kashmir dispute must be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions, and that the Indus Waters Treaty is a matter of national security for Pakistan.
Earlier, five reports from various standing committees, including Finance and Revenue, Law and Justice and Federal Education and Professional Training were presented in the Senate.
